Disinfection Solution – Chemi-Pharm CHEMIHYD Des – 1000 ml

CHEMIHYD DES is a ready-to-use working solution for disinfecting medical instruments in healthcare facilities. Suitable for all instruments resistant to water cleaning, with material-friendly properties.

Provides a broad spectrum of activity:
• Bactericidal (incl. tuberculosis)
• Sporicidal
• Virucidal (incl. HBV, HIV)
• Fungicidal

Phosphate-free.

Areas of application
For disinfection of medical instruments, including thermolabile ones:
• Endoscopes and optical instruments
• Bronchoscopes
• Biopsy loops and forceps
• Intubation tubes
• Laryngoscopes
• Aspiration tubes
• Kidney dishes
• Dental instruments, etc.

Directions for use
• CHEMIHYD DES is ready-to-use, no dilution required.
• Suitable when thermal sterilization is not possible.
• Can be used for pre-autoclave disinfection.

Place pre-cleaned instruments in a container with CHEMIHYD DES, ensuring full immersion. After exposure, rinse with sterile or running water if necessary.

Glutaraldehyde concentration can be checked using indicator paper. Suitable for use in endoscope washer-disinfectors (foam regulator recommended).

Contact time: 60 minutes against all pathogens.

Shelf life of solution: up to 12 months in sealed containers. Store tightly closed at ≥ +5 °C.

❗ Do not use with amines. Avoid using such products before or after CHEMIHYD DES.

Precautions
• May cause hypersensitivity if inhaled or in contact with skin.
• Use protective gloves, eye and face protection.
• In case of skin contact: wash with soap and water.
• Eye contact: rinse thoroughly with water, seek medical advice if needed.
• If swallowed: drink plenty of water, seek medical advice.
• Avoid inhalation of vapours.
• Keep out of reach of children.
