BACTICID is a ready-to-use ethanol-based solution designed for rapid disinfection of alcohol-resistant surfaces and medical equipment. Convenient to use without dilution or rinsing. Effectiveness
• Provides broad fungicidal and bactericidal activity.
• Eliminates Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, including Mycobacterium tuberculosis, and fungi.
• Inactivates both enveloped viruses (HBV, HCV, HIV, Vaccinia, Herpes simplex) and non-enveloped viruses (Adeno, Rota).
• Proven effective against bloodborne viruses (HBV, HCV, HIV) and viral groups such as Orthomyxoviridae (incl. influenza virus H5N1) and Herpesviridae.
• Exposure time — 30 seconds.
Application
• Suitable for rapid disinfection of operating tables, stretchers, patient chairs, hospital and delivery beds, wheelchairs, etc.
• Recommended for use in high-hygiene environments where disinfection is the primary preventive measure.
• Ready-to-use, no dilution required.
• Not suitable for acrylic glass and alcohol-sensitive coatings. If unsure, test on a small inconspicuous area first.
• No rinsing required, does not alter the appearance of surfaces.
• May also be used for rapid disinfection of food-contact surfaces.

• Metals: stainless steel, aluminum, copper, brass.
• Surfaces: PVC, linoleum, ceramic tiles, plastics, glass.
Directions for use
• Apply to medical device surfaces using a cloth or paper towel soaked in solution.
• Ensure the treated surface remains visibly wet for the entire exposure time (30 seconds).
• If visible contamination is present, clean with a detergent first, dry, and then disinfect with Bacticid.

• Registered with the Estonian State Agency of Medicines (Ravimiamet).

How to use:
