Gel Polish Base Coat – DARK Pro Base 70 – 15 ml

DARK PRO BASE is designed to gently camouflage the natural nail plate and works equally well for a thin coating or moderate shape correction. The consistency leans toward liquid, which makes the material easy to spread and reduces the risk of ridges or excess thickness.

A pH level of 6.5 keeps the application comfortable for the cuticle skin, while pigmentation ranging from 1 to 3.5 on a four-point scale lets you choose the colour density that suits the task at hand. Once cured, the coating retains a moderate flexibility rather than becoming hard, and stays on the nail without delaminating.

Directions for use:

  1. Carry out standard nail preparation: buff the surface, remove dust, degrease the nail, then apply Dehydrator and Ultrabond.
  2. Before applying DARK PRO BASE, apply a thin layer of a medium-acid base such as SCOTCH BASE to ensure reliable adhesion to the natural nail.
  3. Keep in mind that the medium-acid base layer is not meant for shape correction: excessive thickness of this layer can cause a chemical burn.
  4. Apply DARK PRO BASE in a thin or levelling layer. Thickness should not exceed 0.7 mm.
  5. Cure in an original DARK lamp for 60–90 seconds.
  6. Finish with your chosen top coat and cure it for 90–120 seconds.

The material performs best on short and medium-length nails. For long, very thin nails, as well as sharp square shapes, the manufacturer recommends harder materials from the line.

If the nail length needs reducing, filing is best done after the top coat has been applied, leaving about 1 mm of free edge — this makes the tip stronger and improves the durability of the coating.
